Awesome night for Santai Gym at the Festival Fights in Lamphun, Thailand!! Hong had his first fight against an opponant who has already been fighting for 6months. Hong lost the fight by TKO from a strong kick to his body in round 2. Hong shows good technique and movement for his first fight and will be much better in the next one. George fought a big Thai who has had many more fights than him. George won after 5 rounds in the decision. It was george’s 2nd fight and he showed great kicks, blocks with his legs, knees, and a couple of good elbows. After the fights the whole Santai team danced in the festival dance floor with the Thai people. Good job to both fighters!

This is Iip, he is Kru Ton’s son.  He is still only 5 years old, and is very impressive already!

Today is Sunday and is our day off from muay thai training. We loaded the truck with the whole Santai Team, and headed to he city to a big waterfall 35minutes away from the gym. Everyone had a great time eating Thai food, swimming, doing flips in the water, jumping through the waterfall, and relaxing after a week of hard training.
