Songkran is the biggest holiday and celebration for Thai people. Songkran is Thaialnd’s new year from April 13 to 15. All of Thailand stops working and hits the streets to celebrate! Even though Sonkgran ends on the 15th, but people still take an extra two days off until the 17th, and continue the celebration. Songkran is historicaly celebrated through pouring a small amount of water over the elderly to show them respect, as a symbol “cleansing”, though it is also a water festival, where all people join in the streets and have a huge water fight.
Due to Songkran, our staff will be off from April 13 – 17, 2011. No formal training will be held during those days, yet the gym facility will still be available for you to use and train at during that time.
Thank You and Happy Songkran Soon To Come!
