After having his first fight and win at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok just the week before, young sponsored fighter Chuy returned to our Muay Thai Gym in Chiang Mai to win the final of the 16 Man Tournament, on Saturday 29th September at Chiang Mai New Boxing Stadium.
The Muay Thai Tournament started in August 2017 with 16 young men of two Groups, A and B. Chuy fought a total of five fights with five wins since then to earn his spot in the final.
Chuy took the win by unanimous decision and 30,000 Baht prize money over the more experienced opponent Chaloem Phon, who has a reputation for his viscous knock out knees.
