Wondergirl Fairtex

Current 118Ib Thailand Champion ‘ Wondergirl’ reveals all in an interview with Santai Muay Thai Gym! Originally from Jaroonsak Muay Thai Gym but now fighting and training full time out of the famous Fairtex Gym in Pattaya Thailand.

What are you doing in the mean time while the gyms are closed throughout Thailand because of the Covid 19 Pandemic?
I stay at home in Bangkok training at our home gym Jaroonsak Muay Thai Gym.

What are your future goals?
I want to focus on Muay Thai and become a Champion, then I want to fight MMA like Stamp Fairtex.

What is you favourite organisation to fight for and what promotions do you want to fight for in the future?
1. One Championship 2. Rogue and 3. Rise ( Number 2 and 3 are both Australian Promotions )

What was it like changing from a family run gym to a big commercial mixed style gym like Fairtex?
I think both places have a good system, at Jaroonsak my father takes care of everything and sometimes I have to help taking care of customers before i can train myself. I stay with my family all the time there. At Fairtex the training schedule is good and on time and i have many fighters to train with and that can help me.

You and Supergirl are siblings? She is known for her thrust knees, what is your favourite power technique?
Yes, Supergirl is my younger sister. Actually thrust knee was my favourite technique but Supergirl has longer legs and sharp knees to make it more effective and dangerous looking. My favourite power techniques is thrust knees (yad sai) and boxing.

What differences have you noticed between farrang/ Thai Muay Ying ( Women fighters ) in training and fighting?
Thai and Farrang train almost the same but most of Thais don’t have knowledge about nutrition and how to cut weight.

Who is the toughest opponent you fought in the past?
Alma Juniku, we fought for her WBC title and I lost.

Who would you like to fight next?
Anyone the promotor gives me.

Who would you recommend us to interview next?
My younger sister, Supergirl.
