What is “Stadium Muay Thai”?
Stadium Muay Thai is a term that our trainers use to describe the style of Muay Thai that we teach here. It is straight forward, we train to fight in the stadium with clean, balanced and beautiful Muay Thai, and this style comes from the roots and years of experience of our trainers.
How do we deliver Traditional Muay Thai to our students and fighters?
Its simple, our TEAM!
Santai has the top stable of Muay Thai trainers in Norther Thailand, many of which hail from the famous Pinsinchai Camp in Bangkok lead by General Pinsinchai. Our trainers have an undoubted clean and beautiful Muay Thai technique and style, which they pass down directly to their students – Thai and foreign. We get to know our students on a personal level, and pay equal attention to everyone during training. Santai limits the amount of students we take in to make sure that everyone is getting attention.
Muay Thai Training at Santai is Unique, Intense, Fun, and Effective:
Although we teach the specific style of traditional Muay Thai at Santai, our trainers never fail to come up with creative ways to teach it, and make it stay with their student’s and fighter’s as a habit. They will use a stick with a glove attached to the end of it and poke you while you hit the bag, or tie your hands to your forehead while you kick to make sure your hands are up, or make marks on the matt with chalk for foot work technique for you to follow, and more! They have endless Muay Thai knowleage, and aways come up with innovative way to teach it. They are motivated to coach their students and fighters and make good Muay Thai technique permanent for them.
Dress code while you are training at Santai :
The gym is built on Temple ground and is a part of the temple ” Wat Santai ” so we need to dress politely as in any temple. If students like to train in spandex trousers , yoga pants , tights we need to wear Muay Thai shorts on top , also if training in sports Bra we need a shirt on top.
