Santai Muay Thai team travelled to Ayutthaya to celebrate Nai Khanom Tom day and compete in three Muay Thai bouts on the 16th March 2019.

Joel Fernandez and Andre both from Spain fought three rounds of Muay Thai with more experienced opponents. Andre took the win against a Thai opponent from the famous kaewsamrit Gym in Bangkok by unanimous decision. Meanwhile Joel shared the ring with a tough HongKong competitor and was behind on points until landing an elbow in the final round cutting his opponent causing the referee to stop the fight and announcing Joel as the winner by stoppage.

Sponsored Fighter Javier Tebar from Spain fought against Pongphat from Thailand, Live on Channel 3 for the WPMF 130Ib Interim Belt. The fight started off slowly with both opponents testing each other in the first round, however moving into the second round both fighters stepped up the pace and started pushing forward. Thailand throwing a mixture of high kicks and low kicks stepping into the clinch, Javier blocks and attacks with a strong right elbow which knocks Pongphat to the floor. Un able to make the 8 count the referee stops the fight, Javier wins the WPMF Interim Belt by TKO in the second round.
