Congratulations to Lisa Brierley, Lion Fight’s new Women’s World Flyweight champion!

Lisa captured the title this past Saturday at MTGP Presents Lion Fight 44 in Samoens, France, as she beat France’s own Fancy Ramos via decision to become the inaugural champion at 112 lbs.

“Thank you to everyone involved in this adventure and opportunity I was given,” said Lisa, who improved her record to 23-9-1 with the victory.

“I have been fighting in the backyard scene in Thailand for the past year and a half. No one knows my name but that does not mean I don’t have experience or heart. Never under-estimate the underdog.

“I am a true fighter and will always take the risks and aim high. No one thought I would come away with the win, but I know my heart and I did not take the fight on five days’ notice not to make an impact.”
