The fight was scheduled between the pair for the 10th October 2019, with Phetsuwan having a 3Ib advantage over Palangboon. Both checked weight and came in as planned Phetsuwan at 125 Ib and Palangboon at 122 Ib. Phetsuwan was given the weight advantage due to being less experienced than Palangboon.
